One of Phoenix’s most anticipated annual holiday events, the Alice Cooper Christmas Pudding Fundraiser is a great way to support the local community while listening to some great entertainment. Proceeds from the event this year directly benefited the free music, dance, arts, and vocational programs for teens age 12-20 at Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Centers.

With featured performances by Alice Cooper, Extreme, Slaughter, Comedian Jim Braur, and more, the crowd was blown away by the talent in this venue. Even more surprising was guest Johnny Depp, part of a band called Hollywood Vampires.  Who knew?!

“As always, Solid Rock is trying to put together a show with new and classic headliners. The uniqueness of this concert is that you’ll never see this caliber and variety of artists on the same stage again.” – Alice Cooper

We couldn’t have said it better ourselves! This event raised over $600,000 for Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Centers, mostly from auctions of photos, paintings, guitar stands, and rare memorabilia. If you haven’t heard of the Solid Rock Teen Centers, it’s a free arts and vocational program for teens in the Phoenix area.

“We want teens to discover their talent in order to reach their full potential. Teens can continue to come to a creative center where they can be accepted for who they are and you are helping Solid Rock to change a teen, a family, a neighborhood, a culture – one teen at a time.” – Alice Cooper

The biggest news of the night is they are opening up a second Solid Rock Teen Center in Mesa, another suburb of Phoenix. That’s the largest enrollment of teenage students in AZ! Ages 12-20 can join. Read more about the Solid Rock Teen Center here.

About the Event

We spoke to Artisan’s very own Pete Cook, who attended the fundraiser.

We were approached by client and Solid Rock Teen Center volunteer Joe Draght, who asked if we wanted to help out and the company owners Doug Bondon and John Passante said “Yes” right away. Even Montroy donated paper for us to print on.

Some of the signed paintings went for 20K! It was out first “Pudding” and I hope not our last. The variety of talent was pretty wide and really fun. The “intimate” venue has no bad seats.

What materials did Artisan print for the event?

Artisan was a print sponsor for the fundraiser. This included printing programs, event posters, and badges.

As a Scottsdale-based printer, Artisan enjoyed supporting such a great cause in the community. We also support local events such as the Scottsdale Grand Prix, Phoenix Design Week, and more.
