Some very lucky Phoenix art and design professionals who sent their RSVP in time were treated to a memorable evening of art and technology recently at Artisan Colour. Emily Randolph was our guest of honor, showcasing her latest interior design fine arts project. There was also a surprise in store about the Artisan brand!
“Interior Design: Best Kept Secret” Event Recap
Artisan Colour co-planned this recent event, Interior Design: Best Kept Secret, with one of Scottsdale’s up-and-coming fine art producers, Emily Randolph. Allowing us to share her work (and our local print shop facility) with many members of the Greater Phoenix art & design community.
As luck would have it, Emily was recently commissioned for a large fine arts project for a local retirement community. Allowing us to showcase over 50 of her incredibly unique fine art images in print production stages as well as some of her custom hand-finished fine art pieces on exhibit, positioned throughout our 40,000+ square foot commercial printing facility.
Emily was able to speak to the unique nature of each artwork—explaining the different uses of the Dibond, Acrylic, layered pieces, and photographic print mounts ArtisanHD offers as we toured the Artisan Colour print facility.
Also a Debut of Artisan’s Brand New Corporate Identity
Artisan Colour also had a few things to be very proud of. For starters, each guest was greeted in the newly re-branded lobby, featuring our brand new logo!
As Artisan Colour Inc. is steadily marching toward our 20 year anniversary, we took the time to reflect upon our name, brand, legacy and where our local Phoenix printing company is heading in the future.
We found that 90% of our repeat client base refers to us as simply ARTISAN. A name and brand synonymous with excellence and a level of craftsmanship unrivaled in the catalog, pre-press, and print industry.
Combining everything we have grown into with what we are striving toward under one umbrella–to cover our custom built printing technology, pre-press, colour correction, online eCommerce and printing services–was a challenge to say the least. But in the end, we arrived at a simple yet effective tagline: Modern Colour + Print.
We will always be at the leading edge of what’s new, what’s next, and what’s MODERN! Of course, everything is centered around the proper representation of COLOUR. It’s been our DNA since 1998. And it’s ALL under the PRINT umbrella.
With all this history, unparalleled growth, and an eye on the future—we pay homage to our brand by keeping our trademark purple as part of our corporate identity. And we tip our hat to the time-tested “A” that has branded so many Artisan projects. We also embrace the future with a simple commitment to all of our valued clients, large and small: More than a printer. We are Artisan.
Ready, Set, Print!
Sure, we know COLOUR, yes, we know PRINT, but our most recent venture also proves that we know ARTISTS! Emily Randolph can attest to that, and had the following to say about us:
“I was truly elated when I found Artisan online (at ArtisanHD.com), and then discovered they were right in my hometown of Scottsdale, Arizona! I had been looking for an innovative printer, a company with an excellent and growing array of high-quality materials and an expertise in color matching for my bold, mixed-media artwork.
Artisan has gone above and beyond in both respects. Their customer service is also second to none. I am but one artist, yet I am treated by every member of their staff as if I were the CEO of a large company. It is a privilege and pleasure to work with such authentic, professional, and talented people.
I consider them to be my partners, as their state-of-the-art technology and talents have enabled me to grow as an artist. In particular, my unique sculptures of acrylic-in-relief over Dibond and acrylic are a true collaboration. Artisan helps me bring my visions to life in ever dramatic ways, and I can’t wait for our next creative venture together.”

With this level of confidence, we set out on a NEW partnership with a truly international group of select digital & mixed media artists to form our premier online fine art marketplace, ArtBoja.
ArtBoja.com: A New Way to Buy Fine Art Prints Online
ArtBoja.com was developed with a singular goal in mind. We wished to provide a clean, uncluttered gallery and marketplace for emerging & established artists to share and sell their works of fine art. All of it backed by two decades of Artisan expert print craftsmanship.
We’ve developed the online platform completely in-house. Each hand-selected artist is added to the roster by invite only, and every image is carefully reviewed for quality & printability.
Unlike other art buying websites, we restrict the print material choices to three products:
- Photographic prints mounted under framer’s grade acrylic for a rich, modern look.
- Brushed aluminum Dibond, an edgy and contemporary print with unique texture and shine.
- Archival-rated canvas prints, made with the best-in-class latex inks, stretched on gallery-grade frames for a classic and timeless look.
We were thrilled to share the new ArtBoja.com website with our guests and have received rave reviews. Where else can you find the latest creations from digital artists & designers from Finland, Australia, Russia, Belgium, Switzerland, the UK, Canada, South America, the US, and more?
So, with the new Artisan brand launched & the party behind us, we continue to grow ALL of our expert print services!
