Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, Basic Math Skills, Forklift Certified

Duties

  • Entry Level Position
  • Upward Mobility Available for Hard Working Employees
  • Build Custom Corrugated Boxes for Fine Art and Display Graphics
  • Employee Will Package the Finished Product and Add Reinforcement to Safely Ship via Ground Transportation Such as FedEx and UPS
  • Artwork May be Heavy and Bulky, so it Must be Handled with Care
  • Employee May be Asked to Train in Wood Shop. Employee Will Work with Shop Tools and Machinery, Following Safety Guidelines for all Equipment
  • Candidate Will Build Cut and Build Backs for Hanging Art, Frames, and Stands.  (Materials Include Metal, Vinyl, and Wood will all be Used, but Not Limited to These Materials)
  • Works Respectfully with Others as an Integral Part of the Team, be Dependable and Honest
  • Employee Will be Required to Lift 50+ Pounds on a Regular Basis
  • Employee May be Asked to Assist in Other Departments:  Collating, Printing, and Router Operation as Workflow Permits
  • Employee Will be Taught to do Simple Framing and Canvas Stretching Using Pneumatic Staplers

Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills
  • Must Have Strong Organizational Skills and be Extremely Detail Oriented
  • Ability to Use Basic Cutting Tools, Read a Tape Measure/Ruler, and Use Basic Math Skills
  • Employee Must be Dependable and Able to Work Overtime as Needed
  • Ability to understand spreadsheets
  • Fork Lift Certification is Required.  If the Employee is Not Currently Certified, the Employee Must Pass a Forklift Certification Class Provided by AC.
  • Self Starter and Able to Learn Multiple Duties
  • Employee Must Maintain Inventory of Supplies and Materials for Company Wood Shop
  • Ability to Work with Multiple Interruptions and Tight Deadlines
  • Ability to be Flexible with Multiple Projects and Changing Situations
  • Employee Must Maintain Cleanliness and Organization of the Shop Area
  • Sensitive to Confidential Information
  • Employee Must Regularly Maintain Equipment and Systems in the Shop Area and Document on the Shop Log Sheet
